I'm rather alarmed...
May. 3rd, 2005 04:37 amat how sad I feel about Christopher Eccleston leaving Doctor Who so soon. Yeah, I've known that he was leaving since before I watched the first ep. But that's exactly why I'm so alarmed. I would have expected myself to get used to the idea of the Ninth Doctor having a very limited lifespan, but it seems I can't get used to it. On the contrary, it's getting more painful with each ep, because I like him more with each ep. Arrrgh!
And, no matter how good David Tennant is supposed to be, I still can't help fearing he'll be too much of a pretty boy, at least for me.

I mean, he was shouting at an oversized pepperpot! It's hard to play that in a way that the audience can take seriously... but he did.
