Short RL update

In case you're wondering about my silence here - it's not just being distracted by delicious books and stuff. Mostly, really, it's lots of RL stuff: job hunting stuff, money issues, legal issues, etc. There is rather a lot more to take care of, at the moment, than just the regular couple or so job applications per week. Thankfully, most of the things I have to take care of at the moment are one-time things, so once they are taken care of, I should be able to divide my time between job hunting and various more pleasant things, rather than between job hunting and a bunch of other unpleasant things.
