Had an amazingly good day.

Met a friend at noon, had great cake & was given a very interesting book as an early birthday present. Went back home, didn't get any 'serious' work done but decided (irresponsibly) to do some work on my big KS level instead, which was very satisfying. Then met another friend in the evening, and went for a glorious walk in the big park near where I live, which was at its shaggy, unmowed best. Also, the park's playground has recently been equipped with new, sturdy swings and other fun playground stuff, so we spent a while there (the playground was mostly abandoned because it was too late for most kids to be out playing). Sadly, I ruined my nice new shoes there. Even so, it was worth it. And afterwards, we went home and I got to show my friend my KS levels, and she really liked them (yay!)
