The unpublishable fic's pretty much on the back burner at the moment, and the latest version of it that I have is somewhat unreadable - it's a version in which I'd started to improve/expand/change certain things but had then broken off, in most cases, in mid-sentence. So it's rather... frayed, and doesn't really cohere much at the moment. So, before I could let you Gene-beta it, I'd at least have to restore some coherence to it, I think. But I haven't forgotten about it, and I haven't given up on it, and when it is marginally readable again I *will* send it off to you! :-)
