There's a nine part BBC documentary series about this collection of photographs and films airing on arte at the moment. Since I don't have TV I can't watch it. Since my parents' video recorder for some weird reason won't record arte properly, I can't record it. *cries*

Yes, it is that series. I saw one episode of it when I was visiting my parents last week, but had to go back to my tv-less flat after that, and overlooked/forgot Kiki's great tip (see comment above), so yeah, I'd be very, very interested.
