especially since this had been sitting on my hard drive for something like a year and a half, practically finished but also in a bit of a mess, with me having no real motivation to go back to it. So, yesterday night I was randomly opening unfinished stories to see if the muses felt like cooperating with me on any of them, and they chose *that*. And all it took to finish it was removing a couple of unnecessary sentences. I should have seen that *ages* ago!
It's off to my beta now, and when she's done with it, and I'm done with it, it'll go up here and on my website.
It's Battlestar Galactica, though, not Highlander. And it's old - started (and *nearly* finished) it a year and a half ago or so. Probably this will remain my only BSG fic(let). I really like the show, but it doesn't give me a lot of bunnies.
