The website's in German, but you can always drop me a line. If you only understand English, don't worry - we watch FS in English there, anyway. And we already have one British Scaper there! :-)

The site being in German isn't a problem for me, I spent 5 years learning German and have a dictionary sitting next to the computer should I need it (of course, my reading in German is great, my speaking is crap).

And of course, with the wonder of the internet, I could always use some online tool to translate for me.

The only problem is, that I'm probably not going to be able to go anyway. :(

Belated welcome back to Germany...summer's been so busy for me!

Don't know if I'd be able go yet....would love to though. Where exactly is Thuringia? (as in relation to me near Trier...my German geography still isn't great *g*). And how much will it be, yeah you know my understanding of German terrible (though I'm getting better!)

It's about 250 km from Trier. Do you have a car? Thuringia is the Bundesland east of Hessen (yup, it's ex-GDR territory!) We chose it because it's the most central part of Germany, which shouldn't be much more than 300-350 km to drive for anybody, no matter if they're from the far north, south, or east of the country. There may be someone able to offer you a ride, as well, but I'll have to check the list for that.

The cost for the weekend is 40 Euros (food and lodging), and if possible you should bring an air mattress. There are beds, but there may be more people than beds, and anyway, we watch Farscape lounging on air mattresses on the floor. :-)

Wenn Ihr aus Deutschland seid, gibt es ja keine größeren 'Transportprobleme', Ihr könnte Euch also theoretisch noch auf den letzten Drücker anmelden. Wobei wir natürlich schon froh sind, wenn wir einigermaßen früh wissen, wieviele wir ungefähr zu erwarten haben... Also, mit anderen Worten: So früh wie möglich ist natürlich toll, aber wenn's erst später geht - eine Ausschlußfrist gibt es nicht.
