A nice day for killing Weasleys

Had lunch with beebee852001 today - Chinese All-you-can-eat buffet, pretty great. Then we went on a quest for photocopies (unsuccessful), had a blast killing assorted Weasleys, and hung around the sf/fantasy/comics sections of several bookshops for quite a while. Shopping for geeks - hehe.

Got a lot of the background for my plot sorted out now.

Also got two new books: M. John Harrison: Viriconium, and Michael Chabon: The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. I should also mention that yesterday I bought Watchmen, which so far is pretty brilliant. Read-out-loud brilliant, frequently.

Unfortunately, when I came home this afternoon I fell asleep and slept most of the rest of the day away, which means time is now getting awfully short for a number of things I meant to do until the end of the week.

It's an utterly brilliant book.

Alan Moore's the only author, btw. Besides him, there's only the artist credited.
