hmpf: Cole and Ramse from the show not actually called "Splinter" (Default)

I think...

I have a sadistic streak when writing HP fanfic. And no, I'm not talking about the fact that I'm writing about the guy who deserves the Shittiest Life Ever Award. No, I think I really only write HP fic to torture my friends. Let's look at the evidence:

- I dedicated my first HP fic - S/R, naturally - to [livejournal.com profile] selenak who does not particularly like the pairing S/R.

- I am currently writing a second HP fic and enlisted the help of [livejournal.com profile] beebee852001 and [livejournal.com profile] dunkle_feuer (and [livejournal.com profile] linelen, but her I'm not torturing - yet. I think I don't know her well enough yet. *eg*). [livejournal.com profile] beebee852001 likes S/R, but usually prefers the fluffy fic variety. Unfortunately, what I'm writing is almost pure, unadulterated angst. [livejournal.com profile] dunkle_feuer I torture even worse: *she* does not like Sirius at all. But of course my fic is heavily Sirius-centric...

Uhm... what can I say? - Sorry! I don't mean it! Really! But, you guys are great for putting up with me. You know that, don't you? :-)

You think that's bad?

I made three of my male friends (who HATE slash stories), read a Buffy slash fic I'd written (and still haven't finished), and then asked them for feedback and additions (of the geeky persuasion, which they did quite well).

I think they all secretly hate me.
