hmpf: Cole and Ramse from the show not actually called "Splinter" (Cop porn)

Catching up...

slowly, but I'm catching up.

Still haven't gotten around to catching up around here, though. At the moment, I'm still catching up with my e-mail (about 7 weeks of backlog) and some, not all, of the various forums I frequent. Will hopefully get around to LJ catch up sometime next week.

BTW, when I made my last entry I was obviously living in the past. Actually, ankae was *not* on the way to Australia but had already *arrived* in Australia by the time I wrote that entry. Ooops.

Reading: Michael Moore, Stupid White Men; James Branch Cabell, Figures of Earth; plus lots of stuff for university (no rest for the wicked...)

Looking forward to: meeting Scapekid again next week; meeting Eledhwen (and a bunch of other Tolkien fans) again next weekend.

What I did for fandom today: actually downloaded some vids and voted in the Shelly Awards (http://clamshell.alter-idem.com/); read and commented on first fanfic by RueScap.

Have to go to bed now and really get up earlier and get some work done tomorrow. Frell.

Two things!

One: Is that Michael Moore book any good? I thought about giving it a go, but not sure.

Two: Where'd you get the Cop Porn icon??? It's FAB!

:)

Two answers:

Michael Moore: yeah, it's definitely an interesting read, and it's a good way to make yourself angry. In a good way, you know. Maybe if I keep reading I'll actually finally manage to act on my good intentions and join some environmentalist group or something.

Cop Porn: I made it. Like it? Feel free to snurch.

Sure about that? I passed through several time changes. Maybe you thought of me when I ran to my connection flight to Darwin and I got it just because of you. I didn't believe I could change airplans in two minutes and twelve gates inbetween. But I did it!

Anyhow, thanks! :)
