Anyone got a New Year's Eve party/event that you'd like to invite me to?

I'm willing to travel, if it's not too expensive. My customary New Year's thing just evaporated, so I need something new now.

Alternatively, anyone else here who hasn't got a party to go to, and would be up for a fangirly chat, possibly accompanied by some watching of eps or something like that, on New Year's Eve? Farscape or LoM or even good old HL would be fine. :D

I would totally love to come over for New Year (as I haven't been invited anywhere), but that you live in an entirely different country to me, and I still don't have a passport :(

Mind you, I've not really thought about New Year's till now.

Okay, probably me, since I think you don't know her? Anyway... I'd love to come, but travelling to Britain at such short notice does fall under "too expensive", I'm afraid.

Gahhhhh, I have so many things I want to ask you - half of which could probably be taken care of by catching up a bit with your LJ again - which reminds me, I need to friend you here... So we should definitely chat sometime, too! Or even Skype. Doesn't have to be New Year's Eve! :-)

Maybe I'll devote most of that night to catching up with people's LJ/DW blogs.

It now looks as if something's going to happen here after all. But we should still chat sometime soon anyway!!! I use Skype for chatting these days - just as an instant messenger, though, no voice chat. Do you have Skype?

Something's been weird with my Skype recently, though, I just notice, now that you mention forgetting to sign in. It used to sign me in automatically when I start up the computer, but it's stopped doing that, which means I haven't been on Skype in... a while. Will have to look into that; I hope it's not broken in some way. Though I guess I can always reinstall.

I don't, but I can certainly set up an ID and stuff for another time anyway. It would be cool to chat - doesn't feel like we've talked properly in a long time!

Hmm, I've had that problem with programs, but I don't know a fix offhand. Maybe it needs updating? Or a setting got accidentally changed?

Anyway, hope you enjoy your New Year's out, and if it falls through, I'll try to remember to be on Skype (I'll PM you my ID when I've got one).
