Heeeeeeh.

Are they doing this on purpose?

(I have a new hobby: Simm-Yorke photo matching. ... (Yes, it's possible that there is something more urgent I should be doing...))

I honestly thought the guy in the first pic was John Simm! No doubt, the resemblance with Yorke is amazing.

Yeah, I know!

It's odd watching Radiohead live clips on youtube, too. Thom Yorke has these moments where he suddenly basically IS John Simm (think 24 Hour Party People! Though he wears his guitar a bit lower than Simm did in that.) E.g. large parts of the last third of this:

It's like a look into an alternative universe where John Simm never stopped making music... (and somehow became frontman, too.) *g*

It depends a bit on what kind of "hair phase" Yorke is going through at a given time, though - he's had some seriously bad Rockstar Hair, and is still prone to occasional fits of that. Also, recently he's begun to look a lot like a younger version of my role-playing gamemaster. o.O ("Younger version?" you ask. Yes, younger - my gamemaster was around 60 when I played. Yorke is 42 now, though he resembled my gamemaster most when he was 40. *g*)

Resemblance completely aside,

I'm completely amazed at how great Radiohead seem to be live. I had no idea their music could even *be* played live, I thought so much of it came from the computer or something. I couldn't imagine that really working, live. (I was a bit of an idiot.)

Now I know I NEED to see this band live. There's quite a few songs of which I've now seen live version that I actually prefer to the album versions.
