My flist is swamped with Doctor Who.

Bad timing for my first foray into flist reading in two years...

Hey, btw. This dreamwidth thing. Has that really taken off? I may have to check out all the individal LJs of my LJ friends after all, to find out if the reason why they're not posting anymore (if they aren't posting, that is) is because they're just busy or because they've moved to Dreamwidth...

A Poll!

I was remarkably effective doing Important Real Life Stuff yesterday and had a completely horrible night, so today I grant myself a Self-Indulgent Fandom Day. What should I do, apart from reading my flist?

A) Watch old-school Doctor Who
B) Write LoM fic
C) both

There's also

D) get around to replying to Janni's mail about The Collator's Den, but as that involves Work, even though it's Fandom Work, I think that's not something for Self-Indulgent Fandom Day.

Meme: Analyse me based on my favourite characters

List 10 of your favorite characters from different fandoms, and ask people to spot patterns in your choices, and if they're so inclined, to draw conclusions about you based on the patterns they've spotted. (from [livejournal.com profile] kernezelda)

1.) John Crichton - Farscape
2.) Methos - Highlander
3.) Sam Tyler - Life on Mars
4.) Frodo Baggins - The Lord of the Rings, book
5.) John Constantine - Hellblazer, comic
6.) Jaeger Ayers - Finder
7.) Sirius Black - Harry Potter fanfic (not canon)
8.) 9th Doctor - Doctor Who
9.) Spider Jerusalem - Transmetropolitan
10.) Miles Vorkosigan - Lois McMaster Bujold's Miles Vorkosigan series

Me? I see two very clear, occasionally intersecting patterns here.
