hmpf: Me painted blue (fanatic)

Said, and done.

I now have a rather archaic version of a rather more professional editing software installed on my computer. (Archaic, because my computer will not be able to cope with anything more recent. Since my demands on the editing software are fairly simple - *really* precise editing and no crashing, please - I should be fine even with this fairly old programme.)

So now I'm back to square one.

Did I mention that two of the preconditions for becoming a jeweller are

1.) an almost fanatical precision, and
2.) an almost infinite patience?

Well. I vid pretty much like I write, and like I make jewellery. So, yeah, starting over from the beginning is an acceptable course of action.

Give me a couple of weeks...

Well, being back at square one regardless, I really did like your vid. I only watched a bit of LoM but enough to get a flavour of it, and despite the hiccups the vid felt very smooth, well timed and also felt like it had meaning. If that's what you can achieve with wonky software, then look out world when you do it over!

Thanks!

Oh, the new version won't be *that* different. It will be pretty much the same, just a bit more precise in terms of timing, and without image hiccups etc. :-)

I think you'll be happier if you start again. May I ask which software you're using? I got a better video editor once but it was just so...complicated I couldn't work out how to put the cropped-down clip onto the timeline, for cryin' out loud! So I'm stuck with WMM for the time being. Fortunately, my computer seems to work better with it than yours.

To say that I have a lot to learn before I can really start to use it would be an understatement.

But I'm nothing if not tenacious when I really want to do something.
