>Aeryn songs: It's probably too late, but have you considered "Warrior of the Wasteland"?
I haven't because I don't know the song! Who's it by?
>John/Rygel: How about the HL title song ? You know - "Here we are, born to be kings, we're the princes of the uuuuuniverse"...
Hmmm... Rygel - maybe. But John? I dunno... gotta think about it for a bit...
>And hey, SOMEONE sooner or later has to do a Scorpius vid to "Sympathy for the Devil".
Oh, that's a good one! I'll suggest that to the Sisters. :-)
>The Jossverse vids are on their way.
Cool. Thanks.
>I agree that John still has a basic set of ethics; however, he can go against them at times.
And so can Sirius. Actually, I get more mad 'kill! kill! kill!' vibes off Sirius at the moment than I get off John.
>Good point about Sirius really meaning to kill Peter Pettigrew; still, he didn't. (Suddenly I have flashes of Harry yelling "Sirius! I want him to live!")
Well, and that is, basically, what Harry does:
--> "NO!" Harry yelled. He ran forwards, placing himself in front of Pettigrew, facing the wands. "You can't kill him," he said breathlessly. "You can't."
Sirius and Remus did *not* decide on their own to be noble and let Peter live. (BTW, I'm kinda chilled at Remus's behaviour in this scene. I mean, "You should have realised, if Voldemort didn't kill you, we would. Goodbye, Peter."?!? Werewolf or not, he's the last person I would have expected this calm assertion from.)
Another aside: Peter talking to Ron: So. Very. Gollum. - Dumbledore talking to Harry about sparing Peter: So. Very. Gandalf and Frodo.
>BTW, one of the annoying things about MWPP stories
MWPP?
>Incidentally, Peter is the first example of a Gryffindor gone bad, which is something of a relief. (I dislike the ideas of kids having a determined fate at age 11.)
BTW, if Slytherin's run such a great risk of turning to the dark forces - why the frell does Hogwarts even teach them???
