And then there's of course also *this* sticky issue:

1973 is Sam's fantasy. Joni is Sam's fantasy. Can you *actually* be *traumatically* raped in your own fantasy? Or isn't a rape that happens in your own fantasy rather to be seen as... a case of rather rough sex with your own subconscious? (Oh Sam, you perv.)
