Re: Catching up.

Remember how I mentioned wanting to catch up here and with my mail? Well... I've managed to catch up with one person's LJ so far, and a few mails. Arrrgh. I truly am not made for the age of the internet, methinks. Too much communication for poor slow old me!

Anyway... I'm continuing to catch up, both on LJ and on e-mail. Particularly on e-mail, since there are some people there to whom I *very much* owe a good, long mail - [livejournal.com profile] selenak comes to mind: I still haven't properly thanked her for her Christmas present!

Speaking of Christmas... another thing I haven't managed (yet) is writing my Christmas cards. On the one hand it is rather silly to send them *now*, two months too late, but on the other hand, it will at least show people that I haven't forgotten... errrrm... Arrrrgh.

Got my first Finder book!

Whoah, that man is sexy. Damn, I'm so shallow. But it's fun, being shallow.

Errrrmmm...

And now that that is out of the way:

So, what is the first thing I see (apart from the unbearable hotness of Jaeger, that is?) A Borribles reference!!! Jaeger meets an Ascian chief who tells him his name is Coward, and Jaeger says "That's a good name, sir. I'd like to hear the story of it sometime." Which is the traditional Borrible greeting.

Another Borribles-Finder-connection: The only Borribles fan site on the web has this URL:

http://jaeger_ayers.tripod.com/Borribles/borribles_main.htm

So there must be at least one person out there apart from me who is both a Borribles and a Finder fan. Wheeeee!
